Hello! Welcome back to another addition of “Weekend in Food”. It’s a series that I started on Instagram but I’m also adding it on to my blog.

This weekend, we are focusing on drinks! 🥤

This is a great post because it shows how which drink suits the environment and situation of the day. For example, Friday evening drink “post-work” is a strawberry margarita. Then having a trendy coffee date with my boyfriend the following day.

I love how food brings people together ♥

AFTER WORK DRINKS TORONTO

Moxies

After a long week, all the 9-5ers (people who work Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm), head over to the bar or restaurant for a Friday drink. It’s a start-of-the-weekend tradition. My coworkers and I like to go to different restaurants and try out their happy hour menu. This week, we went to Moxies and I ordered the Strawberry Margarita.

ARABICA COFFEE

Arabica Coffee is a new coffee shop in Canada, but it’s popular in Japan and other parts of the world. Since it’s a new coffee shop, the line was long! We were waiting in line for 1.5 hours! But it was worth it!

I ordered the Kyoto Latte with oat milk and my boyfriend ordered the Iced Caffe Latte.

CHACHI’S CHAI BAR

I always need a cup of tea, but some days I want to try something different. At Chachi’s Chai Bar, I ordered Mango Lemonade and my friend ordered a Strawberry Milkshake.

We also bought Roast Beef and Vegetarian Paninis.
