Hello and welcome back to another addition of “Weekend in Food”. It’s a simple post describing what I did during the weekend in food pictures.

Measurement Park

This weekend I spent an evening at Midland and Finch. It’s a neighbourhood in Toronto (Scarborough) that has a lot of Asian restaurants. Mike Chen from Strickly Dumplings visited this neighbourhood too!

KOREAN HOT DOGS IN SCARBOROUGH

Chung Chung Hot Dogs

Korean Hot Dogs is a relatively *new* thing in Toronto. And most new food trends are only found in Downtown, Toronto. So when I found Korean Hot Dogs in Scarborough, I was shocked and happy.

Since I found these hot dogs closer to home, I’ve been several times and they’ve always been good. I always buy the original but I also tried the “Volcano” which is a spicy chicken and pork hot dog. DELICIOUS!!

Chung Chung Hot Dog – Waffle Fries

We also tried the waffle fries, but these were as expected. Nothing fancy.

MOCHI DONUTS

La Mochi Donuts & Sweets

I love mochi donuts. They are chewy but soft and come in unique flavours. I even wrote an entire post about Isabella’s Mochi Donuts!

These mochi donuts are from La Mochi Donuts & Sweets – also located at Midland and Finch. We bought Oreo, Milk Chocolate and Coffee.

BBQ DINNER

I don’t eat a lot of BBQ foods, so when I found this place I immediately needed to go! We had dinner at Breakwall BBQ and Smokehouse before going to the JazzFest.

The boys had the “sampler” and us girls each ordered the “pulled pork sandwich”. The sandwich was very tasty! Yes, I did get a side of carrot sticks for health.

VISITING THE JAZZFEST

This was my first time visiting the JazzFest at Woodbine Park. Next time I visit, I have to bring picnic chairs or a picnic blanket so we can sit and ~vibe. Despite that, we did enjoy the music, it was MoTown night!

I bought churros from a food truck and once again, I wanted to order in Spanish but got scared again!

Recently, I’ve been working on my YouTube channel. My plan is to focus on this blog and YouTube! I truly have fun doing both. Please support me by subscribing to my YouTube channel! 😀

Have a great week!
